Maxsisun PB Series LED Grow Light Review (Great Budget Quantum Board Fixtures)

One of the most noteworthy advancements in agriculture is the use of grow lights in plant development. Grow lights for weed have transformed traditional farming techniques and help growers to better manage the growth of their plants.

While the different grow lights on the market are suitable for plant growth, LED grow lights outperform the rest because of their low energy consumption and high power output. They can be used in greenhouses and in other agricultural production methods like hydroponics. Some LED grow lights last for 100,000 hours, so you don’t have to worry about buying another light for years to come.

MAXSISUN 2020 Latest QB Style PB 1500 LED Grow Light, Sunlike Full Spectrum LED Grow Lights for Indoor Plants Veg and Bloom, Plant Growing Lamps to Cover a 2.5x2.5ft Flowering Space (450pcs SMD Chips)

Advantages
The strongest point of the Maxsisun PB series is that you get quantum board LED grow lights at a much lower price. These lights have many other strengths as well, but as we’ll see, they lag behind HLG or Spider Farmer lights in every aspect except price.

Spectrum
The Maxsisun PB fixtures feature a mix of 3500K warm white, 6500K cool white and 660 nm deep red diodes. This is a great spectrum for growing plants and it is also very good for flowering. But it’s not the best.

Most of the competing lights use a mix of 3000K and 5000K diodes, which means more red spectrum light. This makes them better for bloom, while the Maxsisun lights are better for vegging. That said, the difference is not that big. All lights work well for any stage of growth.

Higher Efficiency
The light panel is less cumbersome. You don’t need any ballast to use it. Also it could be usable for the entire life cycle of the plants. For better quality yield use the light as per the recommendation of timing and brightness provided by the manufacturer. There is a suggestion on the package or product description for seeding, vegetation, and flowering.

How far should LED Grow Lights be from the plants?
For germination, the light should be about 30 inches above the plants. For vegetation phase, lower the light to about 24 inches above the plant top. For flowering phase, lower the light even further to about 18 inches. As you lower the light, the light’s footprint grows smaller. This means that plants on the outside of the footprint might not be getting optimal light energy and you may need to add an additional light.

Will LED Grow lights grow plants?
Yes and in fact with current models of LED Grow lights, you can expect a better result than with older HPS grow lights or fluorescent lights. This assumes that the LED Grow Light you buy gives sufficient energy for your plants.
